A Slow Week

No updates this week, my ever loving prototype testers, but never fear. The following features are being coded into the next builds of Eternal Alpaca:
  • Saving - Now you can save! Alright!
  • Intro Movie - Rendered with 3-D technology!
  • Actual Content - The game will make sense!
Please keep looking at the site, for the latest builds! And, someday, an alpha version!
The future is now.

I Shot the Screen

I understand that some newcomers to Llama Healthcare Providers may be wary to try out some game that a basket of n00bs pulled together in a heartbeat. That is understandable. But look at this amazing screenshot, and I am sure your opinions will change.

New Update!!!

Have you been worrying, "How do I know when the latest build of Eternal Alpaca is out?"
Worry no longer!
As was mentioned in the earlier post, Auto-Update has been implemented in this and future versions of Eternal Alpaca!
"Auto updating is totally sweet. It's all about the convenience, Y'know? Just point and click, and SHAZAM!, you're updating!" - Jack Stokes, Senior Co-Chief of Product Engineering

Just Click 'Download Proto-type!' to get the latest and greatest update, the update of updates.

Edited: Watch out! You will have to uninstall your old, non-autoupdate version of the software to get the new, autoupdate version to work. It just... had to be done.

But, what is a TIRPTBA?

You mean you don't know? Ho ho ho!
A TIRPTBA (or, as us down in the lab like to call it, a 'Tirby') is a combination of three concepts:
  1. The Classic Text Based Adventure
  2. The Chaos Theory
  3. The Graphical User Interface
When these three unrelated subjects collide, (BAM!) they form an entirely new stile of gameplay. Imagine: you can interact with a dynamic bunch of objects, using a rell-rounded list of commands, but still with almost infinate playability.

Currently, the Proto-Type only inplements the basics of TBAs, with only several rooms and about 3 objects. Only one, very unique random feature has been implemented, but the GUI has found a true, remarkable feel. Please e-mail me if you experience any bugs, which I know exist, and I will send you a special hint on how to activate cheat mode. Remember, this is a prototype, and not a real program yet. It is no way a working program, and should not be distributed or copied or other evil things like that. Bad Karma Be Gone!

An exciting new game

This site is dedicated to the progress of Eternal Alpaca, a New and Exciting Total-Immersion Random Processing Text Based Adventure (TIRPTBA). More information later, here is a link if you want to try the Proto-Type.
